I’m often asked how Wimmer Custom Cycle came to be and the answer dates back to 1972 – this is when I received my journeyman tool and die making status. I then founded Wimmer Machine Co. in 1976. Our company manufactured a variety of components for the military, aerospace and medical industries. Several years later in the late 1990’s, I pursued my great passion for motorcycles and started Wimmer Custom Cycle – a division dedicated to the design and manufacturing of not only the highest quality, but also unique motorcycle components for the American V twin.

I am also proud to say that this has grown to become a second-generation family business - and with this, we are looking forward to even greater success. This success will be achieved by our continued commitment to quality and service to our customers and we feel you will be more than pleased with our efforts.

It has been extremely gratifying to see so many of our parts used on some of the best-looking bikes around. Our products have been used by the majority of the top builders in the world and have been featured in all of the leading magazines. Whether you have a stock bike or a full-blown custom, we have something for you.
